Meet Nova

I am a certified yoga and meditation guide with a lifelong relationship to movement, mindfulness, and teaching. My work is rooted in accessible, adaptive yoga for people who may not feel at home in traditional studio environments — including children, beginners, seniors, and those returning to their bodies after stress, injury, or long breaks from movement.

Rather than teaching exclusively in a studio setting, I bring yoga into the spaces where people already live and gather — schools, parks, senior living communities, libraries, and shared community spaces. This mobile, community-based approach allows yoga to be approachable, inclusive, and responsive to real-life needs.

My background in education and youth programming, combined with my yoga teacher training and lived experience with stress and recovery, informs a teaching style that is gentle, intuitive, and deeply respectful of individual bodies and nervous systems. I specialize in modifying practices to meet people where they are, including chair-based and adaptive formats, without pressure or performance.

Students who work with me often report feeling calmer, more grounded, and more confident in their bodies. They leave with practical tools for breath, awareness, and self-regulation that extend beyond the class itself — into daily life.
